Gift

While Ken's parents were still living in the UK, we frequently become so filled with guilt at our neglect of them that we made an effort to send them something nice. This was a Christmas present.

When I dragged Brian out into the fresh air for the photographs, he swiftly changed into his most complicated tee shirt for me to paint and his worst jeans. Ken did not shave. Dillon insisted on joining in.

It was, however, a great success in the UK, and was hung over the mantlepiece.

Now that both Ken's parents are dead, Ken has brought it back from the UK for Brian. It was a very happy moment.
