All biking enthusiasts will have heard of Gorge Road in SA. For the uninitiated, the road is hacked through the hills behind Adelaide, and winds a lot. This work is based on photos taken along there. I have explained about the fish in Party No 3. I struggled with the water, this being the first time I'd ever attempted it, and then struggled even more with the cliff and trees. The fish were fun.

I had been frantically working every day, for months, when son Brian plus girlfriend saw this painting and decided they wanted to buy it. As there was no way I could take their hard-earned cash, I gave it to them, but then had to start getting my nose to the grindstone at the ungodly hour of 6 a.m. The light was awful.
