I found this magnificent truck beside the yellow Komatsu I used as a base for 6 Trucks, in a yard at Woodside in South Australia. They had obviously been there since time immemorial. Anyway, I took a lot of photos, went back and took some more, went back again and they were gone!

I mentioned the problem of finding a photo of someone actually digging in a recent blog but, even after husband Ken contorted himself into the pose I wanted, I still changed the photo again and again until he was hunched and focused down into the ground.

The strength of the truck was both remote and empty, scratched with graffiti (which was not on the original truck, but from a toilet wall in Poltalloch) so the landscape is the same, with just a few posts remaining from an ancient post and pug cottage (at Farina).
