I had been approached by Mike Norton of the Norton Gallery in Sydney, and asked to do put some work in a show. Easy fixed, I had HEAPS of unsold paintings from the last Art Images show. I did, however, do this one as a new piece.

Having painted my favourite truck, sky and permapine posts, even my favourite hills, I propped the finished painting against the wall in the studio and my new male dog pissed on it. Did you know dog's urine dissolves paint? Hence the gumtree branch.

It is such a pleasure to paint something just because I want to, knowing that people will like it that I sometimes wonder why I don't do it all the time.
