My easel
Everything progresses, very slowly. The wrecked buildings are getting close to being finished, but had a moment of panic about the Tattersalls entry, which has a deadline, and have gone back to that for a few days, until I feel more secure that everything is in its right place.
Ordered a new easel, my old one having been with me since I was 18 and been stored in sheds, around the world, and coloured in by son, Brian when he was very small. But the larger canvasses I have been working on recently stretch it to its limit and it’s too wobbly. The new one will have wheels!

Jetty at Outer Harbour
The wrecked buildings moved on. I even got a big lump of red to stay in the background yesterday after about 4 attempts, each of which took 2 days to dry and I’m fairly happy with the Tattersalls entry which is progressing steadily.
Found some tremendous Neef series 95 brushes in Melbourne, and have bought a great big stock of those. I spend much more on brushes than I do on paint.
Went to Port Adelaide again, and on up to Outer Harbour as someone had said there was a big boatyard that was worth a visit. Lots of good shapes but the best bit was over in the distance - a long, long line of piles of containers, cranes, oil containers and so on. They will be a wonderful low horizon.
