Joggers No 2
66 x 56 cms 1999
This is a pool hall at Port Noarlunga, south of Adelaide, covered with graffiti.
The joggers were photographed at an Adelaide Fun Run.
The painting was a further exploration of the use of the ghostly, aimless joggers together with a study of scrawled 'tags' which, like the joggers, have no vigour, courage or purpose.
It also incorporates a vertical strip of landscape that I have frequently enjoyed using.
**There are more notes on the joggers on the Compare Joggers Page
