Landscape with Electric Fence

This was the first painting concentrating entirely on tree trunks, using thick textured paint and a number of glazes, creating the composition around the interacting isolation of the trunks, linked by stripes of green, grey, yellow and thin lines of the orange electric fence tape.
The trees were all, in fact, just outside our kitchen window.
